It's been awhile since I posted in my blog. I hope everyone enjoyed their holidays. I thought I 'd let everyone know of what's been happening in the last few weeks of December.
First: First week of December we did some major moving to my new house in Milton, Ontario. I have to admit that it took us a while to get settled but now have pretty much adjusted to the new place. Prior to that I also shot Rosmarie's and Marc's wedding in Kitchener. I 'll be posting some of the shots in a few days.
Second: Been busy preparing for the holidays and shopping for presents for everyone.
Third: I have been working on setting up a studio in my unfinished basement. Not the glamorous setting especially with some junks being stored in there. Did some test shots last week. Not too bad although I could use some better models next time instead of my brothers =)
Fourth: Im actually shooting a wedding this afternoon in Toronto which means I got to stop typing in my blog and get myself ready for the shoot.
HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

Pre-Indian Wedding Ceremony
Last week, I was asked to shoot an Indian pre-wedding ceremony. It was a last minute request so I didn't really have much time to prepare. As soon as I got into the venue, I formatted all my memory cards and start recharging my batteries. I have never done an Indian wedding before so I didn't really know what to expect that night. All I knew was that the bride will be welcoming her future in-laws with gifts for her. This is what I love about shooting weddings. You get to be part of their day and learn different cultures.

Solid Editing Skills- An Ingredient to Great Photography
Last Sunday, we went out on a photo shoot together with some models posing as bride and grooms. This was part of the wedding photography course I’m taking at Sheridan College .Anyhow, I thought that this would a great chance to show how editing can turn a good picture into something better. A solid editing skill is one way that will separate a professional from the rest. Here are some sample pictures I took from that day. These models were fantastic to work with.

Carla and Franco's Night Engagement
I had so much fun shooting Carla and Franco's engagemen session tonight that I had to post a few images. This was my first time to do an engagment at night. A bit challenging and I love it. I enjoyed the use of creative lighting to produce dramatic images

Steve and Coreen's Downtown Toronto Wedding
Man this was such a crazy wedding. We caused a few comotions at the streets of Danforth. Steve and Coreen are probably the most laid back client I have ever had. It was so awesome to be their photographer.

Trash the Dress in Ontario
I wanted to share some of the pictures from a trash the dress session. This is my first time shooting this kind of session and it was a blast!!. I didn't expect that it would attract quite a number of curious individuals.
